FAQ

Questions, answered

How fans launch, how creators get paid, what happens to the money, and how to check every step yourself.

Fans

What is FEED?

A launchpad for creator coins. Fans launch a coin on pump.fun for a creator they love, and a share of every trade is set aside for that creator. The creator claims it with one tap, with no wallet or crypto knowledge needed.

If the creator never shows up, their share isn't lost: it buys back the coin instead.

How do I launch a coin for a creator?

Go to Launch, pick the creator's platform and handle, choose how the fees are split, and sign one transaction with your Solana wallet. The coin goes live on pump.fun right away.

Launching costs only Solana network fees, plus a first buy if you choose to make one.

Which platforms can I name a creator from?

X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Kick and Twitch. You enter their handle exactly as it appears on that platform. The creator proves it's them by signing in with that same account.

What do holders and posters get?

Depending on the split, part of the fees pays people who hold the coin through a round and people who post about it on X, weighted by real reach. You link your X account to your wallet once, and payouts arrive in SOL after each round.

Creators

Is this affiliated with the creator?

No, not until they claim. Coins are launched by fans, and a coin named after a creator is not endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to that creator unless they sign in and claim it.

Creators who don't want a coin in their name can decline it, or ask us to remove it.

How do creators get paid without a wallet?

A creator signs in with the account their fans named (X, TikTok or Instagram) and a Solana wallet is created for them automatically through Privy. Only they control it: we never hold the keys. Creators who already have a wallet can use their own instead.

Earnings are shown in dollars and paid in SOL to that wallet every round. Cash-out to a card or bank is coming soon.

What if the creator never claims?

Every creator coin has a claim window, set by the launcher between 15 minutes and 24 hours. While it's open, the creator's share waits for them.

If they haven't claimed when it closes, the waiting money and every future creator share go to buying back the coin (or to the shared network floor if the coin has died). A creator who claims later is paid from then on.

Can a creator decline, or share it?

Yes. After claiming, a creator chooses to keep their share, share any part of it (1% to 100%) with the coin's holders, or decline it, in which case it's burned through buybacks or sent to the coin's charity.

A creator who wants a coin taken down or their name removed can also contact us; see the Terms.

What is the bring-the-creator bounty?

Anyone can make a personal invite link for an unclaimed creator. If the creator claims through your link, you get a one-time bounty of 10% of what was waiting for them at that moment, paid to your wallet from their pot.

Fees & safety

Where do the fees come from?

pump.fun pays a creator fee on every trade. On coins launched or connected here, 100% of that fee goes to one public wallet, the router, which you can watch on Proof. There are no extra fees on top of pump.fun's.

Can the split change after launch?

No. The split is written into the coin's on-chain metadata at launch (or into the lock transaction for connected coins), and pump.fun's fee setting is locked with its admin revoked. Nobody, including us, can change where the fees go.

Does FEED take a cut?

A fixed 5% of each coin's fee share buys the platform token. That is the only part the platform gets, and it's visible in every coin's split.

Is my money ever held by you?

Your wallet and your coins are always yours. Fees sit in the public router wallet only until the rules spend them: buybacks, burns, liquidity and payouts, each with its own transaction. You can check that the wallet covers everything it owes on Proof.

Payouts

When are payouts sent?

Rounds run on each coin's own clock: the first 3 minutes after launch, then every 2 minutes for the first half hour, then every 5 minutes. Payouts follow each round that earns anyone money.

Are there limits on payouts?

Yes, for safety. All payouts together are capped at 50 SOL a day, and a single wallet owed more than 5 SOL is held for a quick human review before it's sent. Very small amounts roll forward until they're worth sending.

How do I check a payment happened?

Every payout, buyback and burn is listed on Live and on each coin's page with its Solana transaction, so you can open it on Solscan.
